Heroism and Sacrifice

Without sacrifice there is no heroism. The season of Lent begins in a couple of weeks. A time to reflect upon past wrongs, seek Divine atonement, and align oneself more closely with the plight of the poor; The tradition of obstaining from meat originating in the realization that most poor could not afford "luxuries" such as meat.

Could you donate a possession(s) during Lent? Could you volunteer at a shelter or food bank? Could any of us learn to do without? Sacrifice is at the heart of heroism. Do not miss the opportunity to be a hero.
